Most guests arrive with the same thing: tight shoulders, a stiff back, feet that have been carrying them all day. The worst of it is not the one bad day. It is how fast you get used to it and start calling it normal. Traditional Thai massage goes straight at that, with pressure and stretching along the energy lines, not a gentle rub.

You know the price before you walk in: Every price is on this page. A 60 minute full body massage is €53. No packages, and nothing extra appears when you pay.
A studio run by its owner: Natthanan Horn owns the studio and runs it. When you call, you reach the studio directly: no call centre, no booking portal.
You lie behind a door that closes: Every treatment is in a room of its own, not behind a curtain. If you are coming as a pair, there is a room with two couches.
You are treated by trained therapists: All our therapists are trained and certified in traditional Thai massage. The owner completed 150 hours of training at the Thai Traditional Medicine Development Center in Pattaya, certified by the Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society. We work therapeutically only, and we turn down enquiries of any other kind.
You are massaged by hand: Hands only, in the Thai tradition. No machines, nothing automated, and no timer that runs out halfway through.

When your back has not let go for weeks. Firm pressure along the energy lines, with stretching we do for you. You stay dressed and no oil is used.

When you prefer gentle to firm. Flowing strokes with warm oil and gentle pressure. It lets the tension go without asking anything of you, and it is kind to your skin.

For the stiff neck that comes from a desk. All the time goes on the neck, shoulders and back. The short version really does fit into a lunch break.

Do I need to call first, or can I just drop in?

Give us a quick call and the time is held for you, instead of turning up to find the couch taken. There is often something free the same day. You are welcome to drop in, of course, but then it is down to luck.

What do I wear for a Thai massage?

For the traditional Thai massage you stay fully dressed. Come in something comfortable you can move in, or we'll lend you something. For the oil massages we cover you with towels, and only the area being worked on is uncovered. You can change undisturbed in the treatment room.

Who will treat me, and what do you offer?

You'll be treated by one of our own therapists, all of them trained and certified in traditional Thai massage. The owner, Natthanan Horn, completed 150 hours of training in traditional Thai massage at the Thai Traditional Medicine Development Center in Pattaya, certified by the Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society. The certificate hangs on the wall in the studio. We are a wellness studio and we work therapeutically only: we do not offer treatments with an erotic character, and we turn down enquiries of that kind. People come here because their back hurts.

How firm is the pressure? Does it hurt?

You set the pressure, not us. Say at the start how firm you like it, and say so again halfway through if it is too much or too little. If you would rather have it gentle, the aroma oil massage is the better choice than the traditional Thai massage.

How long should my first massage be?

60 minutes. That's enough for the whole body, or for a thorough back, and it costs €53. If it is only the neck and shoulders, 30 minutes at €30 will do.

What does a Thai massage cost with you?

Between €30 for 30 minutes of neck and shoulders and €93 for two hours full body. Every price is on this page. There are no packages, and nothing is added at the end.

Is there anything to keep in mind before or after?

Don't come on a full stomach: a heavy meal shortly beforehand sits badly when you are face down and being stretched. Drink a large glass of water afterwards and plan nothing strenuous for the rest of the day. After a first firm Thai massage, the next day can feel a bit like the day after a workout. That is normal and passes on its own.

Can I pay by card?

Yes. You pay after the treatment, in the studio, in cash or by card.

Is there parking?

Yes, directly in front of the building at Ulmer Str. 153. Arriving five minutes before your appointment is plenty.

Is a massage with you a medical treatment?

No. HomeSabay is a wellness studio. Our massages are for relaxation and wellbeing. They are not medical treatment and cannot be claimed on health insurance. If you have symptoms or a condition, please check with your doctor first about what makes sense.

Can I give a massage as a gift?

Yes. Vouchers come for any amount or for a particular treatment. Collect one from the studio, or reserve it over the phone.

Can two of us lie next to each other?

Yes. There is a room of its own with two couches and two therapists, so you start together and finish together. Book a few days ahead so both the room and the team are free.
